TweetBusiness and Personal Success through Contribution
http://www.facebook.com/godfirstthenbusiness
I would like to take a moment of your time to speak on why I personally embrace the significance of contributions and its key to your business and personal success.
Webster recognizes “contribution” as the noun or action of “contribute” which is defined as 1.to give jointly with others, 2. To write (an article, etc.) as for a magazine, 3. To furnish (ideas, etc.)
I believe that in order for someone to reach a point of action that they can contribute; they must be at a point of quality in their life or offering that it will be received of value to someone or something else. I believe that the only conditional expectancy that they seek is for individuals to be of integrity to themselves in that what they say they want, they are willing to put forth the effort and diligence to achieve it once they have been empowered by the contributions poured into their life.
Now let’s break that down……
There are some individuals that have acquired expertise in a field of interest by paying for the knowledge received or through trial and error of their experiences. As a result of the dues they have paid to be knowledgeable, they conditionally feel that in order for a recipient to be worthy of this information they must tender to acquire it. I believe that given circumstances and opportunity, it levels that playing field that everyone can possess and obtain a higher level of existence in whatever they choose to pursue.
It takes effort and diligence.
http://www.facebook.com/godfirstthenbusiness
Now in the world today, most will assess a value for their contributions which they feel will empower others to success. Due to the range of financial assessment of that contribution, many with dreams and visions find that they have to OPT out of their success.
I live my life today by sharing the resources and tools freely and unconditionally for those who want to succeed.
I contribute to others with hopes that they will become empowered to their success. I will not stifle their aspirations because I deny them of “the magical nugget” that will free them of the woes of life and its hardships.
Whatever I possess I surely can’t take with me when I leave this earth.
I believe in life. I believe in a quality of life that we all should all be privilege to receive, especially for those that really want it.
I have reached a point in my life that I have seen that tomorrow is NOT promised.
I embrace the life that I have been given to know that someone else has breathed easier because I lived. It is an unselfish existence. It is about sacrificing what I think is good for JUST me, but instead what will make a difference in the world.
I am driven to empowerment by being the best possible me that I can be. It is about what has been gifted to me which is intended uniquely for me. It is not intended for me to imitate or duplicate anyone else.
It’s not about “Stuff”….It’s about who YOU are
Will you do yours? Will you value the lives of others as if it were your own? Will you simply care? Will you help them see their dreams even if it’s through your eyes?
If we go outside of ourselves…It isn’t that difficult
The biggest obstacle that some have to bear is their own EGO…..It’s a killer.
So I close in saying Embrace Life, Give of what you have been blessed to receive.
Contribute in the lives of others and it will not return void…..
Celebrate the Success of All …..Not just your own
I enjoy making a difference in the lives of others….I CONTRIBUTE
We are all a Blessed to Be a Blessing

TweetIntroduction:10 Reasons Why Entrepreneurs Should Take Relationship Building Seriously
Relationship building is key to your success. Take the time to be of interest to those you connect with. Building alliances is still the strongest strategy you can embrace. When you engage in “competition vs co-petition” you can possibly deny yourself of connecting with some great people with some great offerings.

10 Reasons Why Entrepreneurs Should Take Relationship Building Seriously
Article Submitted by Jason Jacobsohn
Each and every day, I work with entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses by providing advisory services and opening up my network. One of the thrills of my diverse network is that I am able to connect entrepreneurs to the right people. Without actively building relationships, entrepreneurs will have a difficult time building and growing a business.
It’s not always necessary for entrepreneurs to build out an entire network of various resources by themselves. Rather, they need to be aligned with power connectors who have large and diverse networks. As you get to know these people and build trust, they can become one of your biggest assets.
Power connectors have the ability to open up their networks to connect you to virtually anyone who can be helpful for you as you grow your business. Of course, you need to focus on building relationships in order to meet one of these connectors. Below are 10 reasons why it’s critical for entrepreneurs to take relationship building seriously.
1. Access to Equity Capital: Most entrepreneurs at some point need capital, which can be challenging to raise. In order to get in front of investors, you need to know them or get a high-quality referral. While debt capital also requires relationships, it’s not as stringent as equity capital.
2. Access to Talent: For any growing business, the right talent is crucial to the firm’s success. Entrepreneurs need to have a good network to draw management, advisors and employees. As you get to know people, you will have direct access to the right people or receive quality referrals.
3. Access to Partners: Finding the right partners is an important step for entrepreneurs to take their vision to the next level. Spending time building relationships is a great way to find channel partners, business partners, service providers or other like-minded individuals. While it’s challenging to do it alone, finding the right alliance is critical to success.
4. Access to Prospective Clients: Finding clients is obviously the lifeblood of any business. To find clients, it’s crucial that entrepreneurs spend adequate time attending networking events and reaching out to their existing network. Selling isn’t a quick process. You need to develop relationships over time.
5. Access to Peers: Part of what makes the entrepreneurial experience exciting is connecting with other entrepreneurs and learning from each other by discussing challenges and successes. Spend time meeting other entrepreneurs at events or through referrals. As you build these relationships, you will have direct access to other like-minded people with whom you can share ideas and get feedback.
6. Validation of Business Idea: No matter the stage of your business, it’s still a good strategy to talk to others so the market can validate your idea or future plans. It’s usually a good tactic to talk to other people before you implement an idea. You need to make sure your prospective customers will buy into what you’re proposing.
7. Exposure: When funds are tight, entrepreneurs needs to be creative about receiving PR and exposure in the community. Without talking to people in the community (media, entrepreneurs, investors, etc.), you will have a difficult time receiving inexpensive buzz. At the same time, you need this exposure to acquire customers.
8. Demonstrate Expertise: Most people have expertise in a particular subject, which can be a valuable personal asset. Don’t be shy about letting people know your knowledge, which will help you to become remembered and can lead to new opportunities. As you become known as an expert, you will be presented with speaking opportunities, which can also lead to sales.
9. Starting a Business: Would-be entrepreneurs may not have the resources to start a business until they get to know certain people in the community. By connecting with the right people, entrepreneurs can get the critical help they need to get started. Many entrepreneurial support organizations exist that you may not know about until you are proactive and meet people.
10. Sanity: Entrepreneurs spend many hours working very hard at building a business, which is necessary. However, it’s also necessary to get out of the house or office and interact with people. Without this human interaction, you may get a little crazy.
Final Thought
If you are an entrepreneur, take the above points very seriously. By dealing with entrepreneurs on a regular basis, I understand their resource constraints. I step in to help alleviate some of the challenges and help them move forward.
As much of my networking activities take place in the entrepreneurial community, I can be a good resource for small and growing businesses. In fact, on May 8 I’m co-hosting the Great Chicago Networking Extravaganza, which is designed to help people become more effective networkers.

TweetIt’s that time of the year again…

New Year 2012 Pictures Comments – Photobucket
It’s that time of the year again. The 2012 year is rapidly approaching. Several individuals are excited to approach the New Year with great expectations and aspirations of where their endeavors will go. It is undoubted a call to everyone to incorporate a game plan to your success.
Kicking off the year on the right foot is important. The fact that you are reading this shows that you want to accomplish this. By planning out this next year, you are living life for the important things instead of just taking care of urgent matters.
Some of the things people like to plan for are:
New Year’s resolutions
Weight loss or Exercise
Relationships
Children
Stop bad habits
Continue your education
Learn a new skill or get a new job
Vacations
Time off
Activities/Events
Birthdays/Anniversaries
Meetings/Trainings/Seminars
Projects
The list could go on. One thing to remember is not to spread yourself too thin. One reason that resolutions often don’t work out is because of packing too much into your schedule or setting unrealistic goals. Being smart about how you plan your year is essential to success.
Planning will definitely help you avoid the trap of failing at your goals.
Here is the thing to remember the most in EACH year of your endeavors…
Remain Steadfast …Don’t Be A Jumper!
As I am analyzing strategies for 2012, I reflect back on where I was in 2010. I must admit that I was in a decisive mode at that time. I was engaged in some businesses that were in fact doing okay but I sought more growth. So I was reviewing strategies to implement that growth to take me to the next level. I met a friend and business leader that gifted me in the direction of which I now exist.
I found my purpose…
I found that even in the midst of what I desired that it was not about me. I realized that the most powerful and effective positioning for me was to realize who I am, Be that individual, and Allow that individual to be a resource for others to help them achieve. And during 2011, I remained STEADFAST, even in the wave of being exposed or introduced to so many “new things”.
I am not a conduit for “new things”; I am a conduit for NOT what I THINK, but instead FOR what I KNOW.
I am committed to those “things”….
So as I move into 2012, I KNOW that if someone contacts me looking for solutions or direction I will be able to offer sound advice and direction because I invested the time to be proven in the “things” I do and what works.
I wish you well in all your endeavors for 2012 and Much Success.
Know that I am here if you desire to consult with me. I will share my resources to empower you to the next level in 2012.

TweetThis is the Season of Giving…What is your gift
This is the time of the year when people, organizations, charities, and those of a generous heart highlight their presence by hosting a gift fair , event, or contribution to someone and something they feel is deserving. Giving is expressed in many forms, but what I want to focus on is the ACTION of giving. I would like to personally thank each and every giver for their contributions to make a difference in someone’s life.
You make the world a better place…..
The act of giving is so powerful. It takes of one to be of an unselfish nature. It takes of one to move totally beyond themselves of what they possess for them, but to be mindful of the needs of others. This “season” should not be the only time of offerings. The world is a huge and the needs are large. The needs of others is a constant ongoing existence. It is evident that the contributions of others on a regular basis is changing the face of the world one day at a time, one situation at a time, one life at a time, and one moment in time.
Where would we be without that diligence…….
I believe that not only is there strength and empowerment in the givers, but I also believe that if the lessor were empowered to a position of strength , they too could make a difference instead of being the object to receive.
You see the strength within the strength of the masses could duplicate their efforts by elevating those that are willing and desire to be elevated. In our communities there are several less fortunate people that have offerings but due to their demises in life they can not be effective. There are people that truly are gifted with no manner of which to use it. I believe that even though it is convenient to simply give, the strength in giving is truly in empowerment.
So for those that are just giving. Keep giving…It makes a difference. For those that have not to give …Keep aspiring…Your day will come to make a difference.
Know that tomorrow can be just as bright as the light that shines within you .
Be Blessed to be a Blessing

Content versus Context….Are you pushing or pulling in your endeavors
One of Webster’s definition of content is “substance of meaning/value”.
There is a big PUSH to get more content to the masses to sway them towards your offering. It is a fact that content presented today comes in big waves due to the flood of so many submitting it. The content that is reviewed regularly and quickly gets drowned by the next ongoing wave.
One of Webster’s definition of context is “the parts just before and after a passage, that determines its meaning/value.”
The “parts” is You the context…The passage is “content”.
It is the context of YOU in YOU, before, during, and after, that I believe will make a difference in the success of the receptiveness of your offerings or content.
One of my business partners shared a video offering with me sharing information with me to empower my success in my activities. Now being a believer, as he is as well, I was slightly overwhelmed with the verbiage spoken in this video. There was cursing used by the deliverer of this message. In spite of it, I pressed through because I figured that if my partner had seen it and felt comfortable to share it with me still, there had to be some value in the message.
And it was…..So I will share with you some of the bullet points that I received.
I am not one of the pioneers of “marketing”. I was not engaged in the ground breaking techniques that were used when there was no technology as we have now. The techniques that were used in the last ten plus years were to the benefit of those that could get as much of their “content” before the masses to drown out the competition. The use of banner ads, direct emailing, post cards, etc. were the tools of choice.
That era moved into the birth of SEO. That was regiment of tracking efforts of statistics to position yourself and your visibility, so noted, in front of the masses to get their attention to you. It was the art of who was best at crunching that data and using it as a “guide” to their success because they would say “Surely the numbers don’t lie.”
Well that is true the numbers didn’t lie. The numbers were the truth of only the data that was evaluated. There were and have been many that have capitalized from those findings. They have seen conversions as a result of the applications.
That was the PUSH…….
But along came Social Media…The booming new era
Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Tumbler, Stumble Upon, Blogger, etc.
Now what is happening in those platforms…..The value of context is revealing itself
People are connecting….People are talking about stuff…The dog, the cat, the weather, their children, the last trip they were on, a new shopping spot, a great movie, a new boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, or even one that was let go …….Just stuff
So now businesses and companies are trying to tap into that traffic and presence of communication to seek attraction towards their businesses, products, services, and opportunities.
They are crunching the numbers again to seek conversions ….But here’s the deal
People are NOT numbers…They are Flesh and Blood…They have feelings…They care about themselves and their stuff………
I get that……I am one of those people…..I care
Thus my joy has been in connecting with People to know what matters to them and what matters to me. And in the process I have discovered some pretty neat stuff…The things that really make the world go around.
That’s the PULL
We co-exist and we have found harmony
So I challenge you to see where we are really going and what really matters in your personal and business endeavors.
IT”S PEOPLE…..Engage in RELATIONSHPS Not NUMBERS
GET TO REAL CONTEXT WITH PEOPLE …..NOT JUST CONTENT
You might just find that they might pull to you and not push or be pushed away from you….Just Food for Thought
SO IN CLOSING I HUMBLY ASK……….. HOW CAN I HELP YOU IN YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS?
God Bless and Much Success
